CB in the D - Instagram Website

I began my journey doing research in the pharmacology field while completing my bachelor of science in nutrition and food science. amidst this busy time in my life, i found small hindrances such as menstrual cramping, trouble sleeping, pain management, and more to be manageable through the use of cbd. Considering the negative impact of long time use of over-the-counter medications, I wanted to create a product that would not only aim to reduce discomfort levels but heal simultaneously over an extended period of time. I value product quality which is why we only use lab-tested hemp-derived cbd sourced in America.

Cottage LvL Chaos - Instagram / Website

Handmade by Nattie G

Once upon a time I was going to work in theatrical costume design and it turned out to not be the path for me as I dropped out of college to figure myself out.

Fast forward 4 years and Cottage lvl Chaos was a dream brought to life in the midst of 2020 quarantine times. By me, Nattie G, the sole artist of the brand!

It all started with wire wrapped crystal necklaces. Then I added my classic letter bead earrings, specializing in pronouns and queer self expression! Then I tried macrame, which led to crochet for a bit, then polymer clay earrings, then finally the hand embroidery and then back to crochet and sewing. And now I do all of the above and more in more ways.

I have shifted my brand into a bright colorful maximalist's dream of upcycled wearable art and jewelry. You can find embroidered hats, custom clothing, statement jewelry, mini embroidery and macramé and so much more!

Art has always been my outlet of expression and my reason for being here! I always knew I’d find my way back to sewing and creating for the world around me. I’m happy to have you here supporting me along my journey of creation and growth!

Detroit's Future is Female - Instagram / Website

Detroit-inspired essentials for the empowered woman. Fueling change with every purchase.

Hello, I’m Dominique Davenport. I'm passionate about gender equity and the advancement of womxn in entrepreneurship. As the driving force behind Detroit’s Future is Female (Founded in 2016), I aim to create more than just fashion— we are a movement.

After acquiring DFF in 2022, I expanded its impact by partnering with organizations like BasBlue, Detroit Justice Center, Girls On The Run, and Girls Rock Detroit. Together, we’re building a more equitable future for womxn and girls.

I attended Salem College (Winston-Salem, NC), a prestigious women's liberal arts college, where I immersed myself in a supportive and empowering environment dedicated to fostering academic excellence and leadership among women. My mother attended Spelman College - so sisterhood is engrained in my DNA.

"Detroit's Future Is Female" isn't just a clothing brand; it's a lifestyle. Our purpose is simple: to create a sustainable fashion, celebrate Detroit pride, and womxn in leadership. My daughter Teigan is our inspiration behind this brand - and my big WHY! It's so important to me to empower her at an early age to be bold, use her voice, and take up space!

As we continue to grow and evolve, I invite you to join us on this journey towards a more equitable and inclusive future. Together, we can create a world where every girl and womxn has the opportunity to thrive and succeed.

Paul "Fifty" Johnson is a Detroit-based interdisciplinary artist known for his vibrant use of color and mediums that evoke emotion. Combining elements of street art and contemporary art with fashion and streetwear his artistic journey began with a deep exploration of color, fueled by his questioning of the lack of representation of blacks and people of color in popular media.

Paring his narrative of black commonly referred to as a shade and not a color, he began use black to  depicting his glorified figures dubbed “Sambo Princesses”. His distinctive style involves depicting the female form in a cartoonish and exaggerated way, drawing heavy influence from early "Betty Boop" illustrations and Japanese animation (anime) he celebrates the beauty and individuality of the female form.

Fifty's art has been showcased in numerous exhibitions, captivating audiences with his originality, creativity, and technical skill working with clients such as Nike, Converse, Quicken Loans, and Haworth.

Gaining a worldly influence from traveling to the countries Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Greece, Indonesia, Colombia, Mexico, France and Spain.

Working with peers in the community and the artists in it through the form of collaboration. Practicing in the mediums of Aerosol Art, Mural Installation, Abstraction, Painting, Photography, Embroidery and writing.

He continues his practice in the search of new and current ways to express his ideas.

Jasper they/them

Formerly Queerest Gear

geeky gear for the quirky queer

I'm Jasper (they/them), the designer, seamster, and owner of Gay Nerd Goods.

When I first came out, there was almost no pride merch that represented a nerdy, trans, bi, ace teen like me. Gay Nerd Goods was born to celebrate and uplift all queer people so we can boldly be our most confident selves! My focus is on queer joy with a humorous, nerdy twist.

Everything is designed, handmade, or curated by me: a queer, trans artist. I live in Michigan with my wife, Sadie (they/them), and our silly billy cat, Chungus. I love cooking, skating, open-world video games, and tabletop games.

This company is still a tiny one-man show, but I would be nowhere without your love and help. Thank you for placing an order, sharing with your friends, posting on social media, or otherwise supporting my small business!

Tuckthreads - Instagram / Website / Youtube

Sexy, Intimate, Luxurious Undergarments for Unique Trans Women and the LGBTQIA+ Community

Tuckthreads is here to empower trans-women to love their bodies by providing comfortable, uniquely tailored apparel. We are proudly committed to fostering a sense of belonging, where authenticity and comfort unite, allowing our community to thrive and feel empowered on their unique journey.

Finding comfort, building confidence: how tuckthreads serves the transgender community

Camila's decision to start Tuckthreads stemmed from a deeply personal struggle she encountered throughout her journey of self-discovery as a transgender woman. Having experienced the discomfort and pain of not finding suitable tucking underwear that catered to her specific needs, Camila recognized a glaring gap in the market. Traditional tucking underwear options failed to provide the comfort and quality she desired, exacerbating her already challenging quest for self-acceptance. Fueled by her own experiences of discomfort and frustration, Camila was driven to create Tuckthreads—a brand that not only offers comfortable tucking underwear but also stands as a symbol of inclusivity, empowerment, and validation for transgender individuals worldwide. Through Tuckthreads, Camila aims to provide a solution to a pressing need while fostering a sense of belonging and confidence within the transgender community, thus transforming her personal struggles into a catalyst for positive change.
